I had a design very much like this for months.  Worked well against anything that did not have siege weapons or strike cruisers  Strike Cruisers and any fleet with siege weapons, either missiles or mortars, easily **** this base.  It was quite sad to watch as the DU4 walls and Turrets  melted away.
