I really hate the fact that this game started as a ballistic surface ship, changed to missile, then subs, then in base defenders and now magical spells.

Expect the cloaking device. laser beam and and gauss cannon to appear.  Then, they will come out with anti-cloaking, force shield and EMP to defeat them.
