Like I said in the 90+ (before creative editing) page thread over there.
The only reason I see Paul defending it so vehemently is that it's his baby.
So, like sex with Kobe Bryant, you can kick and scream all you want... it's still gonna happen.
The area of effect idea isn't a bad one, but in true KIXEYE fashion, their delivery sucks, their timing couldn't be worse and their method of putting it in (as a ship) is horrid.
Other than that I give it a meh...

i think it will be too complicated tbh you have to look at the level of the fleet and try and determine what they have behind the flag ship.
could you imagine coming out of some 1's base with ur hh assault fleet and it glitches and some noob hits you with this majik ship on there sub flt and you cant hit it and it makes you go really slow and you can barely move it would **** me off to no end.

Here is my issue with it. Instead of giving the players what they want ( be it a dry dock, or 2nd shipyard). Which would hurt Kixeye in the short run as far as money goes. They come up with some F*CKING stupid ship that doesn't fit in the game by anymeans. So that they can continue to make odles and odles of money of players coining fleets (or even hulls for that matter). So that they can even think that they can maybe compete with the Jone's next door. Who was here to begin with and has all the fun ships and has spent the time and money (regaurdless if they did coin or not). To progress into a game that is now taking a turn to the magical wonders of BULL$HIT. All for the want and "need" to try to be able to compete with somebody who has been in the game longer and has the ablity to to crush them even if they do coin.
